Style of Ant Management

 

Ant-style management is an embodiment of institutional economics. Eric Bonabeau and Christopher Meyer, well-known business management consultants, analyzed in the Harvard Business Review that we can learn a lot from management knowledge from ants and bees.

 

Ants can organize themselves when they assemble – they don't need any supervisor supervision, they form a good team; more importantly, they can quickly adjust and find solutions to problems according to environmental changes. The two scholars refer to this ability as "swarm intelligence" and apply this wisdom to factory scheduling, personnel organization, and even strategy formulation.
